While Blondie are having fun in their current incarnation, the now stripped back trio of Depeche Mode instead tackle the big issues for their 14th studio album, their first in four years. Lead single Where’s The Revolution is a timely statement about life in our Trump dumper times and sees them partnering with producer James Ford who sprinkled magic on Florence + The Machine and Arctic Monkeys. Thus, it has a grittier sound than you might expect from a band known for electro-pop classics and now entering their fourth decade. In case you missed it, last year the band released a 3-DVD library anthology, Video Singles Collection containing over four hours of their music videos and more. That’s the Spirit!
