WE ASKED RELATIONSHIP EXPERT VINKO ANTHONY TO ANSWER THIS ONE. HE SAYS…

-

Dear KF, It sounds like you just haven’t met the right man. It’s not easy! We all live busy lives, and it’s also okay to be choosy. Why settle for something that’s not right? We can be lonelier in the wrong relationship than alone.

You’re at the age where we start thinking about relationships differently. It’s good to know exactly what you need and what you desire and who fits into your world. I admire people who are particular and understand who that special person is that will compliments their lives.

My only advice is this: be mindful of your communication. Listening skills don’t seem to be a high priority for people these days and we expect things to happen instantly. Relationships take care, nurturing and lots of work.

As for your friends, they’re coming from a fun and caring place but it’s not fair to call you “the slutty one“just because you haven’t met someone. They should give you encouragement not slut shaming.

To me, it sounds like you know what you want, what you need, and you understand yourself. The right man could be just around the corner.
