Though Swiftie has a well-deserved reputation for being a serial star-fucker, she also has a solid reputation for writing memorable pop songs that cut through the radio clutter. While 2014’s 1989 saw her scare off any other pretenders to the new Queen Of Pop title (Katy Perry, swish swish indeed!), Reputation sees Taylor boldly declaring her old self is dead. Gosh. Goodbye sweet country lullabies and hello video extravaganzas like Look What You Made Me Do, which even Gaga might consider OTT. Yup. There’s also an awful lot of bitchiness in the lyrics (“I got a boyfriend and he’s older than us!”) If anything, Tayles might earn a new reputation for being a shady lady.
