GUITAR BAND: QTY

New York duo QTY are Dan Lardner (guitars and vocals) and Alex Niemetz (also guitar and vocals, confusingly). Their self-titled debut album has been produced by Suede guitar legend, Bernard Butler so there are big things expected. Indie rock mag NME has already called them “undeniably brilliant”. From the sounds of their catchy singles Michael, Rodeo and the one we love for obvious reasons, Dress/Undress, the duo look like they’ll go far indeed. They also have two secret weapons: their doubly handsome frontmen. Sounding a bit like dance music had never been invented and disco never thought of, QTY are like The Doors dating Nirvana while secretly married to The Ramones. Air guitars at the ready!
