BIG-HAT COUNTRY STAR: DEVIN DAWSON

With Taylor Swift sashaying away from country music for lusher pop pastures, we’ve missed our fix of good ol’ downhome sweet country music. Fear not, because we have just the hunk to fill that hole for you. Devin Dawson is his name and he first found fame after curating a mashup of Taylor Swift songs on YouTube. What a coincidence! After touring the US with big-name country stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Devin releases his debut album, this month. The not-very-ugly-at-all Devin doesn’t need to wear a big hat either because he has Hollywood heartthrob hair that James Dean might’ve killed for. His record company are already expecting big things from Devin (the word “crossover” is being bandied about a lot) so if the pop charts can make room for Taylor, why not Devin?!
