MUSIC: KYLIE, JUSTIN, MORE
Both Kyles and our old pal Mads are releasing their 14th albums this year and, well, we’d kind of given up hope of ever getting another decent album out of either. For her
14th studio album Kyles has dug deep into her glitterbox of hot pants and anthemic choruses in an attempt to recapture some of the magic that saw her catch fire, again, in the early
2000s courtesy of the Light Years album and, of course, the unstoppable Can’t Get You Out Of My Head. In her 50th year, Kyles is a little love-battered, but still disco-tastic, as on this album’s cuddly debut single Dancing, which somehow manages to conjure up Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift concurrently, bless her. With a top-notch production team at the helm, Golden could return La Minogue to the charts. She should be so lucky.
