These two classic solo albums from the former Eurythmic have remarkably stood the test of time. 1992’s Diva won copious amounts of awards, spawned five hit singles (Why, Precious, Walking On Broken Glass, Cold, Little Bird), while 1995’s covers follow-up, Medusa managed four (No More I Love You’s, A Whiter Shade Of Pale, Waiting In Vain, Something So Right). Even more exciting is they’ve just been reissued on vinyl because that’s how hipster ripe they remain. Here’s a hot tip – dig out the video album of Diva featuring nine of the album tracks. As close to pop art as you’re ever likely to see, it was reissued on DVD and may be unearthed cheaply on eBay.
