Considering the career-halting furore that both Ellen and Portia experienced when they first came out, it’s beautiful to see the pair openly share their relationship with the world.
Both are activists for several causes (the videos of Ellen directly addressing homophobia are well worth watching). As a well-adjusted, same-sex couple, they are a model for LGBTIQ youth (and grown-ups) everywhere.
