PITA TAUFATOFUA, HOTARU YAMAGUCHI
This man knows how to make an entrance!
At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, as flag bearer for Tonga in the opening ceremony, he casually strolled out wearing the traditional grass skirt, the ta’ovala, his shirtless torso liberally oiled.
With an international audience of about 3.6 billion, his sexy physique and model good-looks stole the show.
Fast forward to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeong Chang where, despite below-zero temperatures, he did it again!
Pita, who lives in Brisbane but was raised in Tonga, has competed in taekwondo and cross-country skiing for Tonga – a nation famous for its winter Olympians.
