Nigerian presidential hopeful Donald Duke (pictured) says he will not maintain laws that criminalise gay people if he becomes leader. He states that homosexuals should stay in the closet but doesn’t see why they should be legislated against. Nigeria is a conservative Christian and Muslim country and one of the most homophobic in the world with some states carrying the death penalty for homosexuality.
