Some of Canada’s provinces and territories legalised same-sex marriage waaaay back in 2003, and nationwide laws came in 2005. Canada is seen as one of the most progressive and accepting countries on the map. Just in case we weren’t already convinced, last year the official government travel body, Destination Canada, signed a memorandum of understanding with Travel Gay Canada to strengthen the promotion of LGBTIQ tourism.
