5. GREAT BRITAIN
Great Britain’s official tourism board, Visit Britain, specifically targets LGBTIQ travellers with its Love Is Great campaign, which launched in 2016. Targetting potential visitors from North America and Australia, it even included British government participation in local Pride events in 16 cities across the US, Mexico and Canada. It was the first foreign government to participate in Pride on such a significant scale in the Americas. Visit Scotland is in on the act, too, offering LGBT History Month as well as Pride festivities in Edinburgh and Glasgow and launching a website aimed at LGBT tourists.
