THE 1975 – A BRIEF ENQUIRY INTO ONLINE RELATIONSHIPS

-

An early contender for best album title of the decade, Manchester band The 1975 have been busy of late. Not only is this, their third album, out now, but their next one, Notes On A Conditional Form, is planned for May. Already called a “game changer” by those in the know, ABEIOR takes the band’s electropop into more futuristic and exploratory areas. It’s like they decided to become the conduit between Coldplay and Daft Punk (so Coldpunk or Daft Play is you will). How To Draw/Petrichor might even be breaking a new genre – techno rock – while there are plenty of clever quirky ballads and Love It If We Made It is a chilling indictment of the world at the moment.
