MUSIC: DOLLY, TRAVIS, RITA
Hunky Adam has featured previously in the pages of DNA as both a musician and an actor (Broadway’s Naked Boys Singing and HBO’s High Maintenance are just two of his credits so far). After the success of his debut EDM track My Return
Address Is You (featuring Shanica Knowles) he’s stepped up to the spotlight and offered up a version of ’90s dad-ballad Change The World, which he has, yes, changed considerably. Adding in samples from Martin Luther King’s “I Have Been To The Mountaintop” speech does, indeed, set him up in his own vision as “a black Calvin Harris”. “I was drawn to the theme of the original – the transformative power of love,” Adam told DNA. “That’s a message I feel like putting out into the world right now.” Shirtless or otherwise, we’re with you on that one AD!
