TRAVIS SCOTT – ASTROWORLD

Someone at a record company must’ve scored a gigantic bonus for crowding Travis Scott, Drake and Skrillex all onto one record, the wacky and wonderful Sicko Mode, which has already claimed the top spot in the US. Like much of Travis’ Astroworld, his lo-fi hip-hop swagger serves to oscillate him high out of the Kardashian orbit. Oh, did we fail to mention Kylie Jenner is his ladylove? Travis even makes note of that fact here by rapping, “They know my baby mama is a trophy!” Still, we rate Travis’ indefatigable style. His album is worlds ahead of others in his genre. Kim Kardashian may have Kayne West, but we reckon Kylie Jenner may just have the real deal here.
