STILL ON MY MIND

We almost read this as “Dildo – Sit On My Face” but, no, it’s Dido, easylistening goddess of the late ’90s. Her hits included Here With Me, Thank You and the massive album, No Angel, not to mention being sampled in Eminem’s huge hit single Stan. All jokes aside, there are minimal laughs on Dido’s first album in five years, just plenty of the custom-crafted, understated lady angst ballads, of which she specialises. On board to assist Dido’s mindful music is her brother Rollo, aka the brains behind dance maniacs Faithless, but the thorny question still arises – if you already own one Dido album, do you really need to own another one?
