POP, PUPS AND A PROPOSAL

Tim and Sam from Cub Sport were married in fine, furry style with their dogs not just by their side but walking them down the aisle…

“Sam proposed in June 2017,” Tim tells DNA. “It was on the night of our first day of shooting the O Lord music video and we were lying in bed when he asked me. I think my response was, ‘Yes, obviously, but do you mean, like, right now? Are we getting engaged?!’ We went and got rings the next day.” The couple’s dogs, Missy and Evie, walked them down the aisle, too, no less. “They were our bridal party,” laughs Tim. “The four of us are a little family, so it was really special sharing that moment with them.”

The reaction from the mainstream press and the band’s fans to their doggone wedding day was extremely positive, too.

“We’ve been shown a lot of love from press and fans alike,” Tim points out. “Growing up I was really ashamed of being queer, so it means a lot to feel supported in being my true self. It’s incredible to see how much love there really is out there.”

Asked if he and Sam are planning to have children someday, Tim replies brightly, “Yeah, for sure!”
