Rugby player, Israel Folau receives $2 million in public donations from via an online campaign hosted by the Australian Christian Lobby. It’s expected the money will be used to legally appeal his dismissal from Rugby Australia after his homophobic online posts. At the same time, Folau’s gay-friendly past resurfaces. He appeared on the cover of The Star Observer, a national gay newspaper, promoting The Bingham Cup, an international gay rugby competition (right).
