IN THE SHOWER WITH…

New York photographer Joseph Vumbaco takes seven sexy spunks into his bathroom to shoot, hot and wet.

Back in DNA #211, we featured the work of Joseph Vumbaco in a photographic portfolio called In Bed With Joee Vee. Joseph captured six gorgeous guys, naked and rolling in the crisp, white sheets of his bed.

In this issue, Joseph reprises the concept but transfers his models into the steamy shower of his New York City apartment.

Like the bed series, it’s a simple idea, but one that allows the chemistry between the model and the lens to tell a story. The result is a sequence of images that radiate sex, sensuality and temptation, leaving us wanting more.

“I love the look of a clean, all-white setting,” says Joseph. “I knew this space had to be the location for the new series. The simple white backdrop doesn’t allow the viewer to get distracted; a glistening hunk with water drizzling down his muscular body demands your attention.”

Indeed, it does. Each of the models featured (including previous DNA cover boys Cheyenne Parker and Frank Carter) were eager to jump in the shower and have some fun.

“Each model brought personality, sex appeal, and individuality to their shoot,” says Joseph. “They turned what is an everyday setting for me – my shower – into a new location full of excitement and lust.”

One struggle, however, was that the camera lens kept fogging up. “I’m still not 100 per cent sure if this was due to the steamy shower… or the sultriness of the models,” jokes Joseph.
