FIGHT CLUB! HATERS GET SLAYED.
Simon Lokodo, Uganda’s former Minister For Ethics And Integrity, rose to power and attained office by attacking LGBT+ rights and whipping up anti-gay sentiment. He tried to reintroduce the notorious “Kill The Gays” law, which, if passed, would punish homosexuality with the death penalty.
In September elections, however, National Resistance Movement candidate Baatom Ben Koryang ran against Lokodo and won, unseating the anti-gay bully, who is now no longer an MP. On the down side, Baatom Ben Koryang may not be much better.
