I’m not the only one cel­e­brat­ing a birth­day right now – Queen Vanilla is 120 years old, and to mark the oc­ca­sion, they’ve cre­ated a lim­it­e­drelease Mas­ter Blend Pure Vanilla Ex­tract, which I’m us­ing in all my bak­ing. Speak­ing of which, I love th­ese Ital­ian-made cop­per cake moulds. They’re won­der­ful for spe­cial-oc­ca­sion bak­ing.


At­ten­tion to de­tail is at the heart of Mel­bourne-based La Belle Mi­ette, which trans­lates to ‘beau­ti­ful small thing’. The del­i­cate mac­arons and rich choco­lates make sim­ply beau­ti­ful gifts.


Whether I’m at home, en­ter­tain­ing or in the of­fi­fice, I love to have a can­dle burn­ing. Cire Trudon have been mak­ing hand-poured can­dles since 1643, so it’s safe to say they know what they’re do­ing! The clas­sic scents of jas­mine and rose are sim­ply per­fect. I’m also us­ing their room sprays, which come in gor­geous clas­sic bot­tles.
