Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.

I love this quote, and although I cannot say truthfully that I have ever been accused of being speechless, I wholeheartedly agree that travel stirs emotions and feelings like nothing else. The awe of arriving in a new land, the exhilaration of a new adventure and the joy of meeting new friends in faraway places. That is the essence of travel for me.

July 1, 2017, Canada, my homeland, celebrates 150 years as a great country. In this issue, I am sharing two of my favorite Canadian trips with you - Tofino, BC and Peggy’s Cove, PEI.
