Grand­par­ents cel­e­brated at Nar­romine day

ON Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 15, be­tween 10am and 3pm, the Nar­romine Hos­pi­tal Aux­il­iary will host their bian­nual Grand­est Day, a cel­e­bra­tion of NSW Grand­par­ents Day 2017, which high­lights the im­por­tance of grand­par­ents in our com­mu­nity.

The fes­tiv­i­ties are on the Nar­romine Hos­pi­tal grounds, Cathun­dral Street, and will in­clude fun ac­tiv­i­ties such as “Lit­tle and Big Shots” ta­lent quest with teams of grand­par­ents and grand­chil­dren, es­say com­pe­ti­tions, on ‘Why I love my grand­par­ents and why they are the best’, an in­ter­ac­tive an­i­mal farm, horse and buggy rides, pa­per aero­plane com­pe­ti­tions, three-legged and egg and spoon and sack races, a jump­ing cas­tle and face paint­ing.
