Rural Ministry Conference comes to Dubbo
FORTY Religious Sisters gathered at the Cattleman’s in Dubbo for their annual Rural Ministry Conference from September 14 to 17. Sisters, who work in rural and remote towns in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia attended the conference.
Speakers addressed some issues of social justice for those living and working in rural areas and encouraged the Sisters to continue their work in far flung and isolated places as well as in more populated towns. A session on ‘self-care’ was well received by the Sisters who live busy lives in the service of others.
