Joe Williams shares his story

LOCAL Wiradjuri author and mental health advocate Joe Williams launched his new book ‘Defying the Enemy Within’ at The Book Connection in Dubbo on Friday, February 2. Joe is passionate about sharing the message of hope and inspiration, so that people who are struggling to overcome adversity feel that they are not alone. Aboriginal culture, a great healer for Joe, was celebrated by local Wiradjuri dancers who performed a Cleansing cultural dance and a Wiradjuri Welcome cultural dance outside the bookstore. After a short address, Joe signed copies of his book for readers.
