Thumbs up to Jean Matthews of Narromine who has been driving for Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre for over 20 years. Nothing is a trouble to her, such a pleasant person. Need more like her, from Betty.

Thumbs up to the team at Dubbo City Toyota for a fantastic Ladies Night for International Women’s Day. We all had a fabulous time with the friendly staff, amazing food display and informative vehicle information sessions. Thank you!

Thumbs up

to Dean the good Samaritan who changed my tyre at Westside Hotel because NRMA couldn’t come for one hour.

&

Thumbs up to Willy from W.J.S. Removals Dubbo. We were so impressed with his brilliant service and there was nothing that was too difficult for him. People like him make it even more difficult to move away from Dubbo.

'

Thumbs down to the person who took my straw hat and my black sun visor from the Orana Mall food area for two weeks running. Please return them as I am recovering from sun cancer.

&

Thumbs up to the Rivers Store. They are very good with fashion and reasonable prices. Natasha and Rebecca are very friendly and genuine when serving me. Terrific service.

Thumbs up

to the tradies who assisted Ilma Murphy last week, the 87-year-old woman attacked by a dog on the street. You didn’t ask for thanks, but are well deserving of it.

Thumbs down

to the hairdresser who, while clearly fighting a cold, coughed in her hand and proceeded to run it through my hair. Barf!

Thumbs up

to the Dubbo Cycle Club who put Dubbo on the national and world stage over and over. You’re doing the city proud.

Thumbs up

to the person who passed my wallet into Woolworths. Thank-you.

Thumbs down to people who leave rubbish – including dirty nappies – in shopping trolleys. This is totally unacceptable.

&

Thumbs up to people who pick up others’ rubbish to try and keep our city clean. Do the right thing – put your litter in the bin.

&

Thumbs up to the Dubbo Ambulance Service people who get called out day and night. They are always so obliging and helpful, I can’t thank them enough. Spectacular!
