Pink An­gels do­nates ma­chine to Lour­des Hospi­tal

FOL­LOW­ING re­cent do­na­tions from the Ro­tary Club of South Dubbo’s Des­ti­na­tion Out­back Event and the Cromwell Prop­erty Group, Pink An­gels were able to do­nate a much needed LX2 Laser Biomod­u­la­tion Ma­chine to Dubbo Lour­des Hospi­tal at a cost of $7500, and also an ad­justable arm wrap for pa­tients suf­fer­ing from lym­phoedema.

The ma­chine will be used in the treat­ment of ra­di­a­tion fi­bro­sis, pain and oedema in breast can­cer pa­tients in our lo­cal area.

The ma­chine of­fers treat­ment for breast lym­phoedema which can be very dif­fi­cult to treat.

The do­na­tion was pre­sented to Brenda Svens­son, Oc­cu­pa­tional Ther­a­pist and Lym­phoedema Nurse at Lour­des Hospi­tal on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 10.
