Thumbs Down
to the lowlifes who cut the locks to the bird enclosure at St Mary’s Villa on Christmas Day.
Thumbs Up
to Michael at Telstra Orana Mall for helping me with my Apple Watch. Your care and helpfulness were much appreciated.
Thumbs Up
to Trish and her staff at Prouds Jewellers. Such a pleasure to receive real service with a smile.
Thumbs Up
to Orana Mall Dubbo. Shoppers enjoyed listening to the Christmas carols and were happy to see the nativity scene back on display.
Thumbs Down
to the big supermarkets for having the hot cross buns out so early.
Thumbs Up
to my brilliant surgeon Dr Liyanage and all the theatre staff at Dubbo Base Hospital who took care of me when I had my huge operation in August. Thank you all so much. Thank you to all the nursing staff who looked after me while I was in hospital for two weeks. Also thank you to all the wonderful and friendly staff at Oncology Unit and to Ash and the girls in the Pharmacy there.
Thumbs Down
to the sad state of our town’s entrance roads and the Macquarie and Talbragar Street gardens. With so many visitors to town over the Christmas-new Year period, the town’s gardens could at least be cleared of dead plants and entrance roads mowed. I was embarrassed for Dubbo.
