NSW Ju­nior In­ter-zone 7-A-side Cham­pi­onships

CLUB Dubbo once again played host to the state cham­pi­onships, drawing praise from NSW of­fi­cials for the qual­ity of the or­gan­i­sa­tion, greens and club fa­cil­i­ties.

NSW State Coach and As­sis­tant Na­tional Coach, Gary Willis, con­ducted a train­ing ses­sion for more than 70 Ju­niors as a warm up for the com­pe­ti­tion. Each team had a sin­gles player, Syd­ney South West (Zone 12)


 Gold: Zone 4 – Do­rian Abel, Cooper Mc­mullen, Tom Rich & Tom Bowman  Sil­ver: Zone 2 – Blair Soars, Cody Ross, Caleb Mc­der­mott & Jake Reid

 Bronze: Zone 16 – Ricci-rose Hamp­ton, Ja­cob Aitken, Char­lie Jef­fers & Jack­son Wil­liams


 Gold: Zone 4 – James Robin­son & Jor­dan Thomp­son

 Sil­ver: Zone 2 – Bren­dan Stokes & Connor Free­man

 Bronze: Zone 12 – Mia Hot­son & Corey Hedges


Gold: Zone 12 – Matthew Swan Sil­ver: Zone 16 – Tyson Arne­man Bronze: Zone 10 – Michael Phillips

Reese Fin­ny­oung (Mer­im­bula) a Pair and Fours with com­pos­ite scores to de­ter­mine the win­ners.

“The play­ers com­pet­ing also put on a won­der­ful dis­play of great bowl­ing and won­der­ful sports­man­ship, im­press­ing all who wit­nessed the event,” Willis said.

Syd­ney South West (Zone 12) took the Gold Medals ahead of Illawarra (Zone 16) and New­cas­tle (Zone 2).

Our lo­cal Mid-west­ern NSW (Zone 4) team fin­ished a very cred­itable fourth.
