Dubbo Dirt Bik­ers cel­e­brate an­other suc­cess­ful sea­son

THE Dubbo Dirt Bike Club (DDBC) held its an­nual pre­sen­ta­tions over the week­end with rain on Sun­day af­ter­noon top­ping off a mem­o­rable sea­son.

Multi-tal­ented sports­man Luke Hard­ing from Nar­romine proved con­sis­tency was the key, tak­ing out the gong for Se­nior Club Cham­pion as well as the Se­nior Opens and A Grade All Pow­ers classes.

Jack Deve­son won the Ju­nior Club Cham­pion for the third year in a row af­ter win­ning 29 out of 30 races in the 10-12 Years 65cc and 85cc classes in a dom­i­nant sea­son.

Tyler Eade went one bet­ter, claim­ing 15 wins from 15 starts in the 7-9 Years 50cc class to be named Sub-ju­nior Club Cham­pion.

The Most Con­sis­tent Ju­nior award went to Dy­lan Pendle­bury for his en­cour­ag­ing ef­forts in the 10-12 Years 85cc class.

Arum Berry col­lected the tro­phy for the Most Con­sis­tent Se­nior af­ter rac­ing in four classes across the year.

Emma Geale was named Most Con­sis­tent Fe­male Rider in her last year in the Ju­nior Lites be­fore step­ping up to the opens in 2020.

The Most Im­proved Ju­nior award went to Draz­ick Dut­ton in the 10-12 Years 65cc class.

Mem­ber for Dubbo Du­gald Saunders pre­sented spe­cial achieve­ment awards to Brock Deve­son, Blake Fox, Justin Har­row and Jack Deve­son recog­nis­ing their se­lec­tions in the NSW team to rep­re­sent the club at the Aus­tralian Ju­nior Mo­tocross Cham­pi­onships in Ade­laide.

The pre­sen­ta­tion caps a great year for the DDBC with some amaz­ing achieve­ments:

 The club hosted its largest ever

Daddy Cup char­ity race day, with over 500 rid­ers and spec­ta­tors in at­ten­dance. $4000 was do­nated in hon­our of Mitch Mackay to sup­port pro­grams at Dubbo’s new Western Can­cer Cen­tre.

 Blake Fox rep­re­sented Aus­tralia at the World Ju­nior Mo­tocross Cham­pi­onships in Italy for the sec­ond year in a row.

Tom Geale won the 250cc Four Stroke Class at the Finke Desert Race in the North­ern Ter­ri­tory, ar­guably the tough­est and most com­pet­i­tive en­duro race in Aus­tralia.

 were se­lected in the NSW team to rep­re­sent the club at the Aus­tralian Ju­nior Mo­tocross Cham­pi­onships in Ade­laide.

 Blake Fox won the 15 Years 125cc class and fin­ish­ing sec­ond in the 250cc class at the Na­tion­als.

fin­ished on the podium in the 12-14 Years 85cc class at the Aus­tralian Off-road Cham­pi­onships.

 Justin Har­row and Blake Fox were crowned NSW cham­pi­ons at the King of MX fi­nals, with top five fin­ishes from Jack Deve­son, Brock Deve­son and Tyler Eade at the same cham­pi­onships.

 Bai­ley Aitken (Sports­man 250cc class) and Camp­bell Hall (12-14 Years 85ccs) won their NSW Off-road Cham­pi­onship events, while Kait­lyn Hall, Justin Har­row, Hay­den Camp­bell and Jax­son Har­tas fin­ished on the podium in their re­spec­tive classes.

won the 9-13 years 65cc class at the Hat­tah Desert Race for the third con­sec­u­tive year.

Sib­lings Camp­bell and Kait­lyn Hall col­lected tro­phies in their re­spec­tive race classes at the Vic­to­rian en­duro event.

 Blake Fox was crowned cham­pion in the 125cc Ju­nior Cup class at the 2 Stroke Na­tion­als Se­ries.

 Broth­ers Jack and Ryda Deve­son fin­ished with medals in each of their classes. Dubbo Photo News Sport is grate­ful for the ef­forts of DDBC Pub­lic­ity Of­fi­cer Ben Mor­gan. His pas­sion for the sport is some­thing to be­hold.
