River Rubbish Trap

-

A GIANT new Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) has been unveiled near the low-level Serisier Bridge to mark Business Clean Up Australia Day.

The ribbon-cutting celebrated the successful installation of one of the largest GPT’S in the nation and is part of a multi-million dollar pledge from Dubbo Regional Council to stop as much waste as possible from entering the Macquarie River in the urban area.
