Fitness for ANZAC mental health

ELDEAN Demmery joined the Australian Army in 2013 from Dubbo and spent five years as a gunner based in Brisbane.

“I proudly served my country,” he told Dubbo Photo News.

“I suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from a training accident and used boxing and fitness to

help me recover. I came back home to Dubbo and I am now the owner and head coach of Demmos Boxing and Fitness.

“I opened Demmos Boxing and Fitness because I want to help others to heal as well.”
