The victim fell to the ground and it is further alleged the 47-year-old woman punched her several times to the head and body.
The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.
The 47-year-old woman, of no fixed address, has been charged with unlawful assault with a circumstance of aggravation, trespass and assaulting a public officer. She was scheduled to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court this week.
