Martin appointed footy commission chairman
WAYNE Martin has been endorsed by the WA Football Commission board as its new chairman less than a year since being appointed to the board.
Mr Martin has been a chairman and board member of professional, not-for-profit and government organisations during his legal career. He was Chief Justice of WA from 2006 until retiring in 2018.
Cheryl Edwardes was reappointed for three years and endorsed as vice-chairwoman.
Neil Randall was reappointed as a commissioner for one year, extending his overall term on the WAFC Board to nine years.
Worley Global strategy director Amber Banfield was appointed for her first term of three years after being elected to the board position vacated by retiring chairman Murray McHenry.
