A LUXURY car seller has been permanently banned from holding a WA dealers’ licence after deceiving clients and leaving them almost $1 million out of pocket.

Luxuride Pty Ltd in West Perth and its director Nicolas Ngo were charged with breaching the Motor Vehicles Dealers Act and owing their clients nearly $1 million two years ago. Mr Ngo is believed to be living overseas since the Luxuride dealership closed down in April 2018.

About 15 car owners who signed consignment contracts with Luxuride have reported to be $960,000 out of pocket.

Luxuride and Mr Ngo were permanently banned by the State Administrative Tribunal from ever holding a motor vehicle dealers’ licence in WA on January 29.

The SAT found Luxuride and Mr Ngo made false or misleading representations to owners about the true sale price of their vehicles, for a higher profit.
