McLaren Vale

South Australia

-

World class wines, pristine natural attractions and a location only 45 minutes from the city of Adelaide, Australia’s Shiraz region, McLaren Vale, is a must-visit for wine and food lovers. The region is an ideal spot to enjoy paddock to plate experiences, sophisticated wine tastings and the beauty of the South Australian coastline.

What To Do Red, red, wine

With over 80 cellar doors and vineyards, the main attraction in the McLaren Vale is the wine. Known for its Shiraz, red wine lovers will be in their element, with Cabernet and Grenache also expertly created in the area. Some of our favourite wineries in the region include Samuel’s Gorge, Mitolo Wines, d’Arenberg, Primo Estate and Serafino Wines.

The Coast to Vines Rail Trail takes you along the Fleurieu Peninsula and is one of the regions most scenic trails. Suitable for all ages and abilities, you can take a leisurely cycle along the 35km trail and enjoy the views on offer. For those looking to take it even easier, the 5 mile Shiraz Trail takes in wineries and scenery on the way.
