PC, PS4, Xbox One We missed the beta, but are ea­ger to find out whether the fuss around Black­out is jus­ti­fied, or merely the stan­dard newre­lease hype that al­ways sur­rounds COD’s mul­ti­player some­how. A pol­ished, big­bud­get BR mode should be a win­ner.

Dark Souls Re­mas­tered

Switch One day, we as­sume we’ll fi­nally get bored of Hide­taka Miyazaki’s mas­ter­piece, but it won’t be be­fore we’ve played it on Switch. Af­ter a painful de­lay, an Oc­to­ber re­lease date is sub-op­ti­mal for a re­mas­ter, but in a quiet win­ter for Switch-own­ing grown-ups it may yet sell as well as it de­serves to.

Di­ablo III: Eter­nal Col­lec­tion

Switch Long ru­moured and leaked months ago, be­lated con­fir­ma­tion of this dur­ing the re­cent Nin­tendo Direct was none­the­less like manna from heaven. It won’t be the de­fin­i­tive ver­sion of Bl­iz­zard’s peer­less dun­geon-crawler, but it will be the most ac­ces­si­ble, and likely our most played.
