We’ve had final code arrive later in the issue cycle than Team Ninja’s Soulslike action game, and still squeezed a review in. But they weren’t quite this hard. Give us another few weeks to get good, as the kids would say if they could spell, and we’ll deliver our verdict next issue.

By contrast, we expect Sucker Punch’s rendition of ancient Japan to be a little more gentle on the blood pressure. The Infamous developer’s track record may be a little bumpy, but our hopes are high for PS4’s firstparty swan song.

Barely a day goes by that we don’t mourn the loss of the Skate series. A deadline-addled descent into watching classic skateboarding vids on YouTube has us thinking we should drop in on Crea-ture Studios’ early-access effort; more next month, assuming we can find our kneepads. (It’s been a while.)
