Playing the angles
No adventure would be complete without a spot of fishing, so it’s only right and proper that Little Devil Inside will allow Billy to catch his dinner. The process is designed to be as straightforward as possible, Choi says: “It is a very simple cast-strike-reel action, with no complex combination of floats, bait, line strength. So why are we bothering with this? Because we love fishing!” There’s more to it than that, of course: the aim is to humanise Billy, making him more than just a swordwielding action hero, but allowing him to “make use of the environment to fulfil his needs,” as Choi puts it. Yet fish are not just a source of food. “A tackle shop owner may hint about a hidden angling spot, so you may wish to follow up on that,” Choi teases.
