LORD ONLY KNOWS
Quill must often pick sides in arguments, and has the casting vote when the group is split. The outcome isn’t always as you’d expect: decide to sell Groot, and Rocket will repeatedly, and angrily, question your decision. Then again, that’s hardly the only time the two are at loggerheads. At two junctures Drax suggests throwing him over a chasm to extend a bridge: should you concur on the first attempt, he’ll kick up enough of a stink the second time that you’re forced to take the long way round. Other choices smartly subvert the format: when the group is engulfed by a mysterious fog, you’re invited to choose the enemies you think are about to emerge from it. And elsewhere, the key to defeating a familiar foe is simply to stop fighting.
