ASTRAL GAIN
Dap’s story elements are deliberately abstruse: between levels you see cutscenes where a large cloaked figure wearing a deer skull apparently plots against you. Meanwhile, you’re spirited away to the safety of a celestial hub, where you can use the resources you’ve gathered to plant and grow trees. Once they’re large enough they can be pollinated by dap spirits, with a strange, horned ally encouraging you to grow them all – this seems, indeed, to factor into the ending you get.
