Should you get stuck, you can spend coins you’ve earned from completing puzzles to unlock hints. These simply display a succession of single screens, separated into categories such as ‘first motion’, ‘the green record/restore’ (the colours denoting the film rolls) and ‘final look’ – with the latter showing you where everything should be as you approach the exit, from which you may need to reverse-engineer the lead-up to it. It’s a thoughtful solution in a consistently elegant game.
