A kind of wiccan Cooking Mama, if you will, albeit one where your recently graduated witch must impress customers rather than a fiery tempered mentor. Before you start making potions, however, you must produce a brew of a different kind, grinding coffee beans with a pestle and mortar. The process is made delightfully tactile by the controls, as you move the beans into position and slam the pestle down with the D-pad before crushing them with the crank, which is then used to stir the cauldron. A rare use of Playdate’s tilt function pours the mix into a flask; alas, a game-stalling bug means that’s as far as we get.
