When you globetrot for a living, your wardrobe and beauty routine needs to work extra hard. New Zealand model Georgia Fowler gives us a look into her on-the-go lifestyle
Model Georgia Fowler shares her jetsetting style tips.
“When I’m in a rush, I throw on a belted jumpsuit or twinset suit. They always look put-together but they’re very no-nonsense. I love labels like Proenza Schouler, Saint Laurent and Altuzurra, and homegrown New Zealand brands like Georgia Alice and Paris Georgia – they all have the perfect balance of relaxed daytime pieces and effortless evening outfits.”
“I wear a few simple, mismatched earrings and rings by the brands Reliquia, By Charlotte and Zoe & Morgan – I never take them off. I also love to travel with statement earrings as they elevate any look.”
“I always get right to the bottom of my Glossier Boy Brow shaper, and I love the classic YSL Touché Eclat to brighten under my eyes. My favourite trick is to use Dior lipgloss to add shine to my lips, cheeks and eyelids.”
“My current obsessions are my Frame leather jacket (which goes with everything), my Saint Laurent square-toed, high-heeled boots, and sneakers, so many sneakers.”
“The day of a long-haul flight, I do a really hard workout so I get on the plane feeling exhausted. A big scarf, vitamins and fresh podcasts are crucial for on-board. It’s obviously important to stay hydrated, so I recently brought my own thermos and have been making tea throughout the flight. When I land, I go for a long walk, eat some nourishing food and, if time permits, get a massage.”
“I draw inspiration from the people around me. In big cities like New York, I opt for boyish tailoring. In Sydney and LA, I wear a little too much exercise gear.”
