One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to skin scrubs
LIKE ALL THE ORGANS in your body, skin is constantly in flux. It changes depending on the season and climate, the quality of sleep you’re getting, emotions and even what and how much you have been drinking. So you need a regimen that can adapt with you.
“I was missing something that could sometimes be very gentle and at other times more intensive, depending on how reactive my skin was feeling and how frequently I used it – that’s how the idea of an adaptable blending kit was born,” says Nuori founder Jasmi Bonnén.
She created the brand’s Supreme Polishing Treatment so your skin routine can be as personalised as
your phone case. “It’s adaptable to the changing needs of your skin. You activate the formula by blending two components in your preferred ratio. By adjusting the daily blend to your specific needs, you can achieve the best results,” she says.
Endota Spa’s Two Step Micro Polish and Peel operates on similar principles. It’s an exfoliant, granular microdermabrasion and liquid peel, so you can customise by alternating each day or combine them for a deeper treatment.
“Daily, your skin is influenced by both internal and external factors such as pollution, climate, stress and nutrition,” says Bonnén. “What might have been the perfect blend one day, might not be the right one the next. Allowing customisation doesn’t just guarantee better results, it ensures you’re paying better attention to what the skin is in need of.”
