HOW I’M WIRED

1. BMW Connecteddrive (bmwconnecteddrive.com.au)

This system connects my phone with my car, and syncs the destinations in my calendar with the sat-nav. It already knows where I need to go and what the traffic is like, so it tells me if I need to leave earlier, chooses the best route and alerts people if I’m running late.

2. SONOS Play:5

($749, sonos.com)

I like to work to music so when I get into the office or home I’ll immediately connect to my Spotify playlists.

3. SQUARE Contactless Reader ($59, squareup.com/au)

We use these little touch payment devices for Stylerunner pop-ups. They’re so easy to use – you can connect to your bank account in minutes. Genius.

4. AMERICAN EXPRESS Amex Band (americanexpress.com/australia)

My latest obsession is this beautiful fineleather wristband with a payment chip in it. A lot of the banks are trying to get into the space of wearable payments. This one’s connected to my husband’s Amex, so its double the fun when I make a purchase with it.

5. LEDGO 150 LED On-camera Light ($165, digitalcamera warehouse.com.au)

I’ve got this portable light in my shopping basket at the moment. Somebody I know had one while shooting some Instagram content recently. They were wearing it on a rope around their neck while taking photos, but you could attach it to a tripod. When you have great lighting, an iphone is all you need.
