AS YOU BEGIN 2019, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be in Sagittarius, the zodiac sign it rules. WORK
This year is all about developing as an effective communicator and then reaping the rewards. For major career advancement, you should start to interview for a new position from May 15 to July 1, when Mars will light your tenth house of honours, awards and achievement. This will be the first time in two years that you have had Mars’ help in taking such a major step, so you will need to be ready to move forward at this time. Keep your phone powered up: you won’t see this flurry of career activity coming!
To improve a current role, expand your horizons. Do business with out-of-town clients face-to-face instead of via phone or email. They’ll appreciate the extra effort and it will pay off. If you need extra training or want to study, take advantage of Jupiter’s move into Sagittarius. You can make enormous strides now if you strike at the perfect moment. Beware competition from friends, though.
MONEY
Saturn is the taskmaster planet that teaches with tough love. Its job is to get us to think about the long road ahead and to plan for the future. It also encourages us to take on more responsibility, and often asks for a measure of sacrifice. For example, you may have been giving up dinners out with friends so you could save for your first house faster.
If the presence of Saturn translates into difficulty paying your mortgage, keep your spirits up — the situation will ease noticeably by year’s end. It is possible that repairs or renovations will cost more than you anticipated, but again, you will regain balance by year’s end. If you are trying to sell property, you’ll need to be patient. This is not a year you will likely make a killing in real estate, unless your birth chart has Virgo rising.
LIFE
Jupiter has eased into its new role in Sagittarius where it will remain until December 2. As a Libra you are an air sign, and Jupiter will be sitting in a fire sign — two compatible elements — so you will easily absorb the good fortune the planet has in store for you. Now that Jupiter is in your third house for the first time in 12 years, you will likely travel more than you have in recent years. While the emphasis will be on short travel, you could go abroad in April, when Mars will be zooming through Gemini and your ninth house. Go in the first 10 days of April and stay far away from the full moon on the 19th, when Uranus will challenge that moon.
LOVE
When it comes to love, you have two periods that will be special. If you are single, your best time to find your true love will be in early February. Watch for the new moon in Aquarius on February 4 — the only new moon in your house of true love. Indeed, February will be a wonderful month for finding a genuine and potentially long-term relationship. That new moon will receive lovely vibrations from Jupiter in your shortdistance travel house, so you may need to be out of town at a party or wedding. If invited, by all means go.
If you are attached, February will be a sensational month, too. Plan super-romantic date nights or a weekend away. The other big day in 2019 will be August 15, an important full moon in Aquarius, which is very likely to mark an enchanting moment in your timeline. Single or married, this full moon will be as big as a pizza pie in the sky and perfect for you.
