Now’s the perfect time to complain about bad phone reception
THE Coalition Government has re-opened the Mobile Black Spot Program’s Database of Reported Black Spot Locations for new nominations from state and local governments, and federal members of parliament.
Steph Ryan (MLA, Euroa) has said while individual members of the public aren’t able to nominate an area for consideration under the program people can make blackspots known to Damian Drum as their federal MP or to Strathbogie Shire Council so they can be considered when mobile network operators are preparing their proposals.
Mr Drum said the database is open for four weeks and called for all residents to contact his office to nominate any mobile black spot areas.
“The nominations will support round four of the program which will look to provide new or improved mobile coverage in areas where there are clear economic and social benefits,” he said.
