Help us to find state’s best young CFA vol­un­teers

THE Coun­try Fire Author­ity (CFA) is ask­ing com­mu­ni­ties within Strath­bo­gie Shire it serves to help find the state’s most in­spir­ing young vol­un­teers.

Spon­sor­ing the CFA Vol­un­teer Ex­cel­lence Award cat­e­gory of the 2019 Seven News Young Achiever Awards, it is en­cour­ag­ing nom­i­na­tions of young peo­ple un­der 30.

The awards ac­knowl­edge, en­cour­age and pro­mote the pos­i­tive achieve­ments of young peo­ple up to and in­clud­ing 29 years.

The awards show­case the achieve­ments of young Vic­to­ri­ans, and pay trib­ute to their vi­sion, in­no­va­tion and com­mit­ment to con­tribut­ing to their com­mu­nity.

CFA chief of­fi­cer Steve War­ring­ton said the or­gan­i­sa­tion was proud to be one of many through which young Vic­to­ri­ans make an out­stand­ing vol­un­tary con­tri­bu­tion in their com­mu­nity. Award cat­e­gories are: So­cial Im­pact Award
