Phil Squires (18) motored around the course to score a very good 39 points to take out division two.

The presentations were not held at the end of the day so winners can collect their rewards next time they play in the competition.

Wednesday golf was a 4BBB par event with 37 golfers playing in the field including one player in a threesome.

The leading score of plus eight was pretty popular with Brian Rosenbrock and Keith Seeber winning the competition on a count back from four other pairs.

The other pairs included Mark Bowden and David Baker, Eric Sessions and Charles Arnold, Arthur Frost and Russ Denny, Bruce Demmery and Barry McIntosh making nearly a third of the field with the winning score.
